HERE & NOW (2009-Present)
Project synopsis:
I want to develop a product that helps the user concentrate on the present moment. I am using the production cycle I learned as a graphic designer to hone the idea and gather data. More details to come.
IMPROMPTU DESIGN (since 2007)
I study the design efforts of those around me—people are making all the time, with what they have at hand.
Website launching soon.
BIG PICTURE (since 2000)
When I first moved to the city, I didn’t have a studio. When I found an old Polaroid camera in a thrift store for $3, I decided to take one shot a day. The important thing was to figure out what was that moment, what was that view that I needed to record. I have slowly learned how to take a decent photograph. Now I shoot both digital and Fuji Instant.
MONSTRESS ACTIVITIES (2000)
I created this as a book project at Women’s Studio Workshop.
Forgive the typos, I know not how I spell.
ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS (1999-Present)
I make portrait products and little once offs and such. It keeps me going.
VALENTINES (since 1996)
I print an activist valentine each year I possibly can. This whole ridiculous notion of romantic love being the only love that can validate a person just has to be stopped.
